AMRITSAR
Founded as Ramdaspur, Amritsar is a city that cannot be compared to any other place in the World. It is a
unique, vibrant city and truly a Guru-di-Nagari. The water, food, people and the streets are a vibrant
constituent of Ambarsar, the lake of Holy Nectar. Its many sacred places to heritage walks and food streets
make for spectacular escapes. Any travel to Punjab is naught if it does not include Amritsar.
Golden Temple surrounded by a pool of nectar is a picture of sublime surrender in the awe of the divine. Parikrama around the Durbar Sahib leaves a touching effect on the soul. Therefore, a visit to the Golden Temple must be a priority. Every corner in Ambarsar is steeped in history. World Heritage Corridor, Ram Talai Mandir, Jallianwala Bagh, Old Markets, Pul Kanjri, War Museum, Ram Bagh, Wagah Border are a few important places of interest. We stay at Amritsar.
