DAY 1 & 2
LUDHIANA TO BHATINDA - SANGRUR - MUKTSAR SAHIB
After breakfast at A Hotel by Grewalz we travel to Bhatinda enroute Sangrur and
Muktsar Sahib visiting historic locations and Gurudwaras.
Bhatinda
Qila Mubarik is a majestic citadel of Bhatinda’s history. Over 2000 years old it is one of the oldest forts in India and richer yet in historical stories. With its many sights to take in it is a marvel to contemplate and behold. (3 hours) Sri Damdama Sahib is the center of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Ladli Fauj, the Nihangs. It is here that Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed for nine months spending his time in writing, compiling Sikh scriptures and exhorting the Sikhs to educate themselves. Talwandi Sabo, became a cantonment and a center of learning for Sikhs. (3 hours)

JAGAT FARMS – HARIKE PATAN WETLANDS – TARAN TAARAN – AMRITSAR
Move from Jagat Farms to Harike Patan Wetlands: Harike
Patan Wetlands are part of Sutlej river, you can see migratory
birds and the very lucky may spot river dolphins too. By
afternoon we reach Gurdwara Taran Taaran Sahib and then to
Amritsar.
DAY 4
AMRITSAR
Heritage Street Amritsar
In its new Avatar, the road from Town Hall to the Golden Temple makes for a perfect introduction to the historic city. The once chaotic and crowded streets filled with rickshaws, hawkers and devotees is now widened and redesigned to bring out the sweet culture of Ambarsariya people.
The recent redesigning displays the history of Punjabis with a grand sculpture of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
It is possible to take heritage walks all around this center through some famed and heritage markets as old as 400 years.
Some of the unique bazaars to see are Bazaar Kathian (Cattle), Bazaar Kesarian (Saffron), Bora (Sack) Bazaar, Papad Bazaar, Mishri Bazaar, Herbs Market and Spice Market.

PARTITION MUSEUM
The world’s first partition themed museum is now open at the
Historic Town Hall building. A tragic and defining moment in
the history of India and Sikhs, it is a tribute to the lives and
families sacrificed in the largest human migration ever
recorded.
